Legal Update

The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network has issued a final rule establishing reporting requirements for corporations, limited liability companies, and other entities created or registered to do business in the United States. Legal Update

The Michigan Uniform Assignment of Rents Act (MUARA), MCL 554.1051 et seq., effective September 22, 2022, repealed and replaced Michigan's former assignment of rents statutes, dramatically changing the law governing assignments of rents in Michigan.
